What’s new? The Mountain Oyster Club Show, that’s what!

"A Whole Lotta Patience - and then a little bit more" 18x24 Oil

Today is September 25, 2024 and I still haven’t got the hang of this website maintenance stuff. I DO want to share that I had a piece of art juried into The Mountain Oyster Club's 55th Annual Contemporary Western Art Show and Sale. The exciting weekend begins on the 22nd of November with the popular artist/MOC member dinner (I can bring one guest!), followed by an artist and patron reception on Saturday the 23rd. The main sale event will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024. To secure invitations to the show, be sure to let me know or directly contact the office of Art Show Director, Alisha Taylor. This 18x24 oil painting titled "A Whole Lotta Patience (and then a little bit more)" depicts #veraearlranch cowboy and colt starter, Kenyon Bearup, as he gently ropes a calf for "branding and such". I'm also pleased to present it in a gorgeous custom carved frame made expressly for this painting by Travis, owner at #goldrivergallery.
